Douglas A. Ball Memorial Scholarship Announced
(March 31, 2021) - Last week, SC&RA reported on the
passing of former SC&RA Vice President of Transportation Doug Ball. Now, SC&RA is pleased to announce the creation of the Doug Ball Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship will be administered through the SC&R Foundation.
“After several exchanges with a number of Board and other SC&RA members, as well as Doug’s widow, Janet, SC&RA will fund an initial contribution to honor Doug’s memory and industry contributions,” said Association CEO Joel Dandrea. “Doug placed great value on people during his time here, and while serving his country in Vietnam and at the National Drug Intelligence Center. We hope this memorial scholarship will continue to carry on Doug’s optimism and positively impact others’ lives.”
